Social Media Manager*In (part-time/remote)

As a constantly growing e-commerce start-up, we are looking for reliable support for our young team. As a social media manager, you are responsible for our social media presence (organic) and lead our marketing team in the following channels:

Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest | Structure (YouTube)

Your tasks:
  • Strategic alignment and further development of cross-channel content and social media strategies for the German market
  • Conception, coordination and implementation of target group-specific content for our social media channels
  • Monitoring and analysis of relevant KPIs as well as the creation of reports for quality assurance
  • Researching best practices in the social media environment and identifying new potential for existing and new channels
  • Development of new, interactive content formats and campaigns with measurable results while constantly monitoring and integrating the latest trends
  • Concept development of videos and support with video production
What you bring:
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English
  • University degree and/or professional experience in communication, media management, business administration with a focus on marketing or another economics course
  • You have a very high affinity for digital content and an in-depth understanding of the common social media platforms, including conceptual details and technical possibilities of the individual platforms
  • You have a structured, analytical way of working with a strong eye for detail
  • You are characterized by your open and communicative nature
  • First (professional) management experience is a plus

Your areas:

  • Content creation (photography, video content)
  • Influencer Management
Your tasks:
  • Content support in the use of our content channels (onsite blog, newsletter, social media channels)
  • Maintaining the social media channels and answering customer inquiries via social media
  • Content creation: e.g. photos (shooting & image editing) or texts (creating a content plan, writing texts)
  • Design and implementation of influencer campaigns
  • Support for social paid and Google Ads
What you bring:
  • You are a student in the field of marketing, economics, communication or journalism
  • You have German language skills at native speaker level and very good English skills
  • You like to work independently and remotely
  • You have a very good eye for detail and an excellent feel for language
  • You love blogs, social media, influencers and would describe yourself as creative
  • You can empathize with our customers and want to support them in every step of the buying process
  • Ideally, you are already familiar with Adobe Photoshop & InDesign (but this is not a must)
  • Ideally, you have already had some experience with social media/Google ads (but this is not a must)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Powerpoint and Excel
