Gold vermeil is a particularly high-quality form of gold plating: a thick gold layer (at least 2.5 microns) is applied to 925 sterling silver. Compared to simple gold plating, vermeil looks more elegant, lasts longer, and is based on real precious metals.

Differences from regular gold plating

While conventionally gold-plated jewelry often consists of brass with a thin gold layer, gold vermeil offers noticeably better quality, durability, and a genuine gold look – without the price of solid gold.

Care and durability

We ship worldwide free of charge (US shipping excluded) with DHL – and within Germany, your package usually arrives within 2–4 business days. The shipping is from our warehouse in Germany. Thanks to DHL GoGreen, the resulting CO₂ emissions are offset. Please note: Items marked "Pre-Order" have a longer delivery time.

Important: Fast standard shipping is not possible for pre-ordered (Pre-Order) products. The same applies to payment by bank transfer. Shipping will only take place after receipt of payment.

As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a personal tracking number by email for shipment tracking. This allows you to check the current status of your package online at any time. Please also check your spam folder if in doubt – sometimes our email ends up there.

Please note: The delivery times given below are based on the standard information from our shipping providers. Especially for international shipments, these are guidelines and not binding. The shipping fee for international orders does not include costs for duties and taxes. Our international customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes that may be incurred upon delivery. The national customs authority of your country usually provides the tariffs on a homepage.

• Conditions: Only unworn items in original condition and original packaging are eligible for return.
• Return shipping costs: Paid by the buyer. For this, we ship worldwide (no minimum order value) to you for free! Tip: You can send your return via DHL cheaply as a merchandise shipment or small package with tracking including liability.
• Return process: The return must be registered quickly & easily via the return portal yourself.

You automatically receive a voluntary 12-month Warranty that covers all relevant material and workmanship defects.

How it works
Your package contains a Warranty card with an individual number. Please keep this card safe – it serves as proof in case of Warranty.

In case of Warranty
If a problem occurs within the Warranty period, simply send us:

• a photo of the piece of jewelry

• Your order number and/or Warranty card number

We will then take care of a solution as quickly as possible.

Excluded are:

• Damage after the Warranty period has expired

• Defects due to improper use (e.g., breaking a bangle by strong bending, tearing a chain by pulling)

• intentional damage

• normal signs of wear such as scratches, dents, or abrasion

With the right care, most signs of use can be easily avoided or remedied.

Immediately after delivery
If you notice a deviation immediately after receipt and before the first wear, this does not fall under the Warranty but under your statutory right of return. Please contact us immediately via our Chat and register the return in our Returns Portal.
